Welcome to the first update for WOD Tracker Pro!
- In this version, there is better support for RSS feeds. If your feed still isn’t being pulled in correctly, please let me know. Contact me via the website or send me an email – pete [at] wodtracker [dot]net.
- Two-way syncing from the web to your device. Go to wodtracker.net/sync and register if you haven’t already. You can also register from your device if you’d rather do that. Two-way syncing is only available for your history right now. I’m going to monitor the logs submitted to the market and try and work out any issues before I duplicate the logic for syncing personal records. Your first time, you may experience duplicate history entries on your device. If you do experience dups, delete them from your device and re-sync the history. If you experience other issues, please let me know!
New permission – CHECK_LICENSE
Some of you may notice a new permission request in this version. This new permission is an attempt to enable licensing via the Android market. I’ve read pros and cons to this. If it becomes a maintenance nightmare for me, I’ll yank it out and publish an update.
Hopefully there won’t be any major issues with the two-way history syncing so I add two-way syncing to the personal records.
Before I sign off, be sure to check out the updated look of the web sync site – wodtracker.net/sync. I’ve been spending more time there. I’m going to be adding the ability to add WOD and Personal Records from the web and allow you to sync them to your device.
I am the developer of the WOD Tracker CrossFit WOD tracking mobile app. It is currently available for Android but an iOS version is in the works.
