There are now over 1,200 active installs of the WOD Tracker App! 1,226 to be exact. There have been about 50-ish new installs every day.
I’ve been working on a few (big) features for the app.
Awesome new feature number one would be website data integration. You’ll be able to sync your personal records and history to wodtracker.net. You’ll have to register for a user id and password on wodtracker.net/sync and then you’ll be set up. You can register two different ways – either on the web or through the app. The website is very simple right now and far from complete, but the important part is that the data is there! You’ll be able to manage your registration information from within the app as well.
Awesome new feature number two is one that I’m especially happy to announce and extremely proud of: the ability to import your WOD from your gym’s website. This will be imported via the your gym’s RSS feed. I’m very happy to have this feature in the app now. I thought it would be extremely difficult to implement it was…but it’s there now. This is a very beta-ish feature and has only been tested against a WordPress-generated RSS feed. I’ll continue development as new needs arise but so far, it is working very well.
I’m still testing the app myself (and gold-plating it as I see fit) but you can expect it to be on the market soon-ish.
