I’ve been working on a new feature for the app – search.

Soon, you’ll be able to search the data you’ve created in the app.

Here are a few screen shots I took using the emulator on my laptop.

To begin searching the app, when you’re on the main app screen (when you first open the app), click the search button on your device (or you can click menu and then search). Type in whatever you are searching for. In this screen shot, I’m looking for anything that says “deadlift”.

enter query

Now, click the magnifying glass and your search is executed. When the results come back, you’ll be shown a new screen. There are 3 tabs displayed, “named WODs”, “history” and “personal records”. The tabs have the number of results returned from the database. I’m still developing this so there isn’t anything being displayed on screen yet.

Since this is still in development, it may change a bit from this design but I don’t expect it to change much.

Once the feature is ready for prime time, I’ll publish it to the market.
